Until reading this biography, i had always idolised Jack Nicklaus as the greatest player of all time. I now have to think twice. Bobby Jones's determination and commitment is an example to all budding up and coming youngsters to the game and to seasoned club players alike. After battling 7 years of hard luck,in the majors, near misses and bitter disappointment, he then went on to pick up 13 majors in the space of the next 7 years, before retiring at the remarkable age of 28! I also never realised that he helped design the Augusta golf course soon after, and without him, we would not all be watching the 'masters' every April. A superb read, amazing grit,will power,determined character who was loved by all. Buy it.
